Safety Integrity Levels

For several years our HFL Risk Services team has been actively involved in helping operators to determine whether or not existing safety related systems are able to provide the necessary level of risk reduction (or Safety Integrity Level).

For reassurance that your process/plant has sufficient layers of protection to prevent a major accident and that staff in offices and other workplaces are adequately protected against the potential hazards on site our experienced personnel can:

• Undertake Hazard Analysis and identification studies
• Undertake HAZOP and HAZAN reviews
• Carry out LOPA studies and determine the SIL requirements for safety related systems
